Lifetime Achievement Awards Committee


The Judicial Lifetime Achievement Awards Committee solicits nominations for and selects a current or former Texas judge who is recognized by his or her peers as having a reputation for and commitment to judicial excellence, has achieved a significant length of service as a judge in Texas and has demonstrated a long term, consistent and significant contribution to the betterment of the judiciary, access to justice and the system of justice in Texas. The Judicial Section of the State Bar of Texas is accepting nominations for the Judicial Lifetime Achievement Award. 

  1. All nominations must be submitted in writing and must be accompanied by supporting evidence that is sufficiently detailed to assist the committee in evaluating the nomination. That information may include a resume, media accounts, testimonials, and other information that will be helpful to the committee in evaluating the nomination.
  2. Nominations must be received by mail or email (at the address below) before 5:00 p.m. August 1, 2017.

Please submit a nomination letter and accompanying documents to the chair of the Judicial Lifetime Achievement Award Committee. Email submissions are preferred.
